Sales Force Consulting - Our client is a well-known FMCG (wines, spirits, juice, pharmaceuticals, household and personal care) importation and manufacturing company with factory located in Lagos but with warehouses and key distributors and managers nationwide. They operate from major cities in Nigeria.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - East

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • As part of their resolve to expand its market share in the Eastern markets, our client urgently require the services of an experienced Regional Sales Manager - East.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategies that will ensure the company having effective footprint of its product lines across all the open markets, modern trade, pharmacies and institutions in the East.
  • Manage the activities of all the Sales Reps in the East Region
  • Facilitate the signing-onof new customers and manage the relationships of existing clients ensuring that the customers increase on regular basis.
  • Reactivate dormant relationships
  • Drive intelligence gathering for deeper knowledge of competitive activities and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure reconciliation of customers’ accounts on regular basis.

Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc / BA Degree.
  • Additional qualification and related association memberships is an added advantage
  • At least 7 years FMCG sales experience 2 of which must be at Regional Sales Manager level

Other Conditions:

  • They must be very hardworking, target oriented, with high level of integrity
  • Grounded in supervisory and leadership skills is mandatory
  • Extensive knowledge of FMCG marketing activities in the East
  • Ideal candidates should presently reside in the East or must have worked extensively in the East andcan easily procure accommodation.
  • Applicant must understand the whole rudiments of sales process and developing a sales and marketing strategy.

  • Must understand market and competitive activities/analysis
  • Must age below 40years
  • Ability to drive a vehicle in compulsory (Including possession of a valid license)
