Paws & Claws PetShop is a one stop shop for all pet needs. We provide pet services ranging from Pet Food, Products and Accessories to Pet Grooming and general Wellness.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Veterinarian
Location: Lugbe, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Perform general pet wellness procedures such as grooming, vaccination, drug administration, etc.
- Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns.
- Evaluate and treat different categories of Pets
- Provide preventative medical and clinical care
- Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
- Take responsibility for Pet Products and Accessories.
Requirements
- Ideally, minimum of 1 year experience working in a pet store, animal shop or hospital as a vet.
- Minimum of a Graduate Degree from any university.
- Proven experience treating and administering medications and treatment to pets.
- Good communication and rapport skills.
- Licensed as a vet to treat animals.
- Good understanding of the different pet products, accessories and foods.
