Job Title: Team Member / Lead, Credit Administration & Documentation

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Functions and Responsibilities

• Credit process review and enhancement in line with the best global business practices.
• Review of credit facility requests for strategic business units.
• Make input into the design and development of new credit products.
• Ensure compliance with the credit policy guide (CPG) throughout the credit cycle.
• Engage regulators on issues relating to Credit Risk Management, especially in arears of Consumer Protection Regulations and other audit observations.
• Ensure approved facilities are disbursed in a timely and error free manner.
• Release of shipping documents in line with the approved transaction dynamics.
• Organizes stakeholders’ engagement forum / workshops with the SBUs on credit processes and documentations.
• Review all our current processes, policies, and frameworks to ensure relevance with the operating and regulatory environment.
• Flexible and agile thinking with respect to process improvement initiatives.
• Continuous automation of workflow and reporting processes to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Achievement of Service Level Agreement (SLA) with other stakeholders
• Internal customer satisfaction levels
• Internal audit rating
• Service rating by Service & Innovation Group

Professional Requirements

• A good First Degree in any discipline.
• Professional Certification: CIBN, ICAN or ACCA or relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience preferably in Risk Management
