Job Title: Factory Operator

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Factory operator will be responsible for the operating and maintaining of automated machines and equipment used in production lines.

Job Summary

• The Factory Operator's responsibilities include setting up, overseeing, operating and maintaining automated machines and equipment used in production lines as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.
• A successful candidate must be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy, maintaining the production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.
• Note that this position demands stamina, a successful candidate must be physically fit to be able to lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

•  Operating and maintaining automated machines and production line equipment.
•  Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
•  Following the company’s guidelines on health and safety standards and other specifications.
•  Monitoring the assembly line, removing faulty products or machines and to report any problems to the Supervisor on duty.
•  Maintaining a clean worksite to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification
• 2 - 3 years experience working as a Factory Operator.
• Good knowledge with automated machines/factory lines.
• Background in a factory preferably an automated factory i.e., the big FMCGs (Coca Cola, Nigerian Breweries, Chivita etc).
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical dexterity.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
