BARIEL Medical Center is a newly established modern acute-care hospital located in the Port Harcourt, Rivers State. BMC provides General Medical and Surgical healthcare services (outpatient and inpatient) with consultations and specialized services for the whole family (Adults and Pediatric).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Clerk / HMO Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Qualification Requirements

• Graduate / HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with 2-3 years post-NYSC Hospital work-experience.
• Must have 2-3 years’ work experience as HMO/Billing officer in an acute-care Hospital setting.
• Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and billing for medical procedures and services.
• Must have good command of written and spoken English and use of Hospital computer/software systems.
• Must have good customer service, interpersonal relationship, and health information management skills.
