Full Job Description

  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects according to timeline and budgets. They will facilitate the building of project teams and will manage resources, stakeholders, and scope to ensure they are delivered to customer satisfaction.
  • The Project Coordinator owns the project from inception to completion, including participating in project scoping & cost benefit analysis, creation of project schedule, managing resources, raising red flags as issues arise and ensuring adherence to the approval process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Executive Team and Clients to initiate, define, prioritize, and manage projects
  • Lead and organize project teams to ensure each project is well documented, communicated and executed
  • Develop project charters, schedules, communication plans, and other project documentation where necessary.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans. Identify issues, and manage their timely resolution
  • Regularly communicate project updates, outcomes, to project team, company leadership and clients.

Description of Duties

  • Help to create a positive environment for the project team including open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain full-scale project plans and associated
  • Communicate internally and with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations. Delegate tasks to project stakeholders and manage deliverables with team members and stakeholders
  • Provide status reporting providing updates on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Manage project scope and change requests, understanding and communicating the impact of each change before moving forward
  • Facilitate fast and effective decision-making required for progress on the project
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Creating and maintaining project records in ConnectWise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Certifications in Project scheduling and management
  • Degree or related job experience
  • Minimum 3 years of related project management experience
  • Logistics and Construction Services experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology projects
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite; especially Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus

  • Experienced in using modern project management and collaboration software (with ability to learn new ones)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
