Hamilton Lloyd and Associates : Our client is a global digital agency offering an integrated variety of digital marketing services including digital strategy, media planning, social media, etc with presence in 54 countries. Due to internal expansion, they have decided to recruit the position below:

Job Title: Digital Media Planner

Location:
Lagos

Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for digital media buying for client portfolio within the digital media business unit
  • Media negotiating, planning of digital media against the strategic direction for clients digital media campaigns
  • Manage the social media of selected brands
  • Development of digital media plans in accordance with the strategic direction against the clients campaign objectives
  • Development of media schedules in accordance to the process within the digital media business
  • Media negotiating with suppliers and cost optimization
  • Researching past campaigns to provide insight to the strategy team to plan future campaigns and click through URL's are correct at all times during the campaign period
  • Ensuring advertising set-ups, creative
  • Manage and optimize campaign performance through continuous monitoring of campaign delivery
  • Reporting to clients on a regular basis on their campaign
  • Actively manage the operational advertising relationship between the company's advertising clients and publishers
  • Manage daily duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documents
  • Develop, align & execute conversation calendars for relevant social media platforms
  • Develop necessary content management strategy & system to manage conversation in social media
  • Monitor social channels deleting spam, and escalating negative comments to the client to ensure rapid response
  • Find and recruit social influences, align them with relevant brands, and manage the relationships Development of media schedules in accordance to the process within the digital media business
  • Ensuring campaigns meet clients' strategy objectives
  • Researching past campaigns to provide insight to the business unit team to plan future campaigns
  • Consistent social media management in line with clients'expectations
  • Manage daily duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documents.
Competencies/Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written/presentation communications skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Keep abreast of new media opportunities and developments and share information with the team/agency
  • Understand basic media terminology and CPM, CPC, CPA and CPL buying models.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing or Advertising).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skill.
  • 3-5years digital industry work experience (background in digital planning/buying).
