We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bartender

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies.

Duties

• Preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant customers.
• Interact with customers, take orders.
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
• Bartenders engages customers who sit at the bar by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage standard operation procedures.

Required Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairing.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Prefarably female for gender balance.
• Related work experience is required.
