Bakery Assistants at Super Saver Supermarket

The SuperSaver Bakery is a food (Bread, Cake, Pastries, Prepared Food, Ice Cream) production department of SuperSaver Supermarket with Superfresh as brand name, selling directly to walk-in-customers shopping on our shopfloor. The SuperSaver Bakery prides itself on producing baked goods and foods of the highest quality.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist the Baker in bakery daily activities
• Producing and replenishing bakery products and handling them with care to maintain quality and freshness
• Following company policies and adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Championing the reduction of food waste
• Being knowledgeable about the products in my department, the services in my store and helping customers by giving great natural service
• An excitement for preparing fresh food and a flair for presentation
• Maintains good working relationships, and ensures all paperwork is properly submitted for Baker processing
• Clean, cut and cook food items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served
• Clean and inspect gallery equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
• And any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• The job holder will be expected to work to a high standard and ensure that the rest of the team do too.
