Bakery Supervisor at Super Saver Supermarket

The SuperSaver Bakery is a food (Bread, Cake, Pastries, Prepared Food, Ice Cream) production department of SuperSaver Supermarket with Superfresh as brand name, selling directly to walk-in-customers shopping on our shopfloor. The SuperSaver Bakery prides itself on producing baked goods and foods of the highest quality.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Supervisor

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervises coordinates activities of workers engaged in mixing, dividing, molding, and proofing of dough, and in baking, slicing, and wrapping of bread, pastries, and other .
• Oversees operation of automatic machinery, like rounding, curling, icing, slicing, and wrapping machines to make sure maintenance of specified quality standards production schedules.
• Examines dough batter for specified consistency.
• Reads charts of fermentation room & ovens to verify specified humidity temperature.
• Plan and supervise daily productionof cakes, pastries, bread, food, ice cream & popcorn
• Ensureno stock outofallsuperfresh varieties at all times
• EnsureIcing and decorating cakes to a high standard
• Processing of customer orders and queries
• Delivery of finishedgoods in the shopfloor
• Ensure keeping work surfaces and floor clean and clear of clutter after each set
• Writing out finished products labels and dates accurately and neatly
• Deep-cleaning the premises at the end of each day
• Being the first point of contact for all visitors to the SuperSaver Bakery
• Performs other duties.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• The job holder will be expected to work to a high standard and ensure that the rest of the team do too.
