Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Job

• The Accounts Receivable Officer duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing, and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Job Responsibilities
The duties / responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Officer include the following but are not limited to:

• Generate accurate invoices and dispatch them within 24hrs.
• Verify and accurately post all payrolls on SAP
• Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledgers
• Ensure client inflows are properly posted on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain petty cash
• Provide evidence of tax remittance
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for the assigned banks.
• Process in-house pension
• Maintain an orderly filing system for all documents, Tax, and other statutory correspondence.
• Any other duties as assigned by Senior Accountants/ Head of Finance

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting, receivable or finance environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Excel
• Certified SAP User or other application of equivalent capabilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledgeable in FIRSs
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
