Job Title: Senior Retails System and Development Manager

Ref. : SRS&DM
Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve operations through technology advancements & recommending solutions to management.
  • Develop a roadmap for use case development, prototyping, testing, deployment and monitoring of new technology solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technology solutions to determine which solutions may be most beneficial to the sales & retail long term goals.
  • Lead the sales digitalization program the business unit
  • Lead the sales transformation plan and integration of new Lines of business.
  • Lead the business unit and Information
  • Technology/Systems implementations strategy and roadmap to cater for new technologies.
  • Interprets data received from individual contributors and develop recommendations and business
  • Responsible for end-to-end management of projects, setting projects plan with dependencies, work breakdown strücture, risks & issues, in addition to tracking actuals verses plan.
  • Responsible for preparing business cases & follows up on projects P&L after implementation.
  • Liaise between business unit and Information
  • Technology department to ensure solving the business problems as well as implement new systems & processes to ensure continuous improvement in sales aligned with customer satisfaction, eliminate the fraud & achieve company goals.
  • Ensure high-level of quality delivered by projects and systems implemented within the business unit
  • Identify new opportunities across the business unit based on Sales knowledge and market research.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • First Degree in the Social Sciences, Engineering or related discipline, Postgraduate Degree would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of six years experience preferably in the telecom industry or FMCG environment
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE I certification is a plus
  • Experience with project management software tools
