Job Title: Senior Chartered Accountant

Location: Mowe, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post & reconcile accounts payable & receivables
• Produce error-free accounting reports & present their results
• Analyze financial information & summarize financial status
• Spot errors & suggest ways to improve efficiency & spending
• Provide technical support & advice on Management Accountant
• Review & recommend modifications to accounting systems & procedures
• Manage accounting assistants & book keepers
• Participate in financial standards setting process
• Provide input into dept goal setting process
• Prepare financial statements & produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits & tax returns
• Direct internal & external audits to ensure compliance
• Plan, assign & review staff work
• Support month end & year end close process
• Develop & Document business processes & accounting policies to maintain & strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and Liaise with other Finance team to improve financial procedures.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting or Allied Disciplines.
• Associate Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA)
• Minimum of 8 years cognate and Hands on experience in manufacturing company
