Life Centre Med Support - We provide a wide range of services such as repair, preventive maintenance, inspection services for medical and laboratory equipment to medical centres and laboratories, hospitals etc. Basically, our services spurs from equipment repairs, safety and performance testing, routine maintenance, hazard alert and recall management, electrical area testing, technology replacement planning, equipment related incident investigation to acquisition and replacement advice and guidance relating to infrastructure.

Job Description

• Performing routine maintenance checks on biomedical equipment through testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting.
• Installing new biomedical equipment and adjusting the device according to medical specifications.
• Training staff members to operate and care for equipment with physical demonstrations and educational presentations.
• Repairing faulty machinery on a routine basis and tending to emergency repairs as needed.
• Keeping a digital record of equipment repairs, faulty components, and recalibrated devices.
• Ensuring that all equipment meets company standards of safety and quality, and is in compliance with relevant laws.
• Support systematic preventive maintenance biomedical instrumentation and equipment program.
• Conduct electrical performance and safety assurance testing on dialysis machines.
• Inform biomedical equipment users and clinical Engineering management on status updates.
• Handle specialized equipment services in laboratory analyzers, laser, ultrasound, ventilators, sterilizers and anesthesia machines.
• Interface with clinical staff to identify and remedy scheduling problems.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Technology, or a similar field.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a biomedical technician.
• Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
• Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in layman's terms.
