Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a high-energy, deeply analytical financial analyst to assist the management team in tracking and analyzing business metrics efficiently.
• The goal is to ensure the business can make better data driven financial decisions as a result of the sheer brillance of the financial analyst.

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create finacial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Identify and drive process improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and excel dashboads
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of business finance or other relevant experience
• Highly proactive
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of financial statements.
• Strong collaborarion and superb listening skills.
