Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Permanent / Full time
Job Description
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Coordinate and direct EPC Contractor, Contractor’s, construction workers and subcontractors.
- Facilitate Contractability Reviews, Construction Risk Assessment and hazard identification on all Company activities.
- Support in Negotiating terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Requirements
- 15+ years EPCI experience with minimum 5 years on a similar role.
- B.Sc. / B.Eng. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field,
- B.Sc. / B.Eng. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, Professional Certification is an advantage, Registered Engineering in Nigeria (MNSE and or COREN).
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes.
- Expert knowledge of Industry regulation, Codes and Standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
Primary Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes,
- Expert knowledge of Industry regulation, Codes and Standards."
