Job Title: Community Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our team. We would like to meet you if you are a tech-savvy professional with experience in social media, public relations, and promotional events.
  • Our ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to create engaging content.
  • You should be a people person with excellent customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
  • Finally, you should be able to serve as the brand's face and voice, as well as manage all community communications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and carry out social media and communication campaigns to support marketing strategies.
  • Create interesting text, image, and video content for your social media accounts.
  • Respond to comments and customer inquiries as soon as possible.
  • Feedback and online reviews should be monitored and reported on.
  • Organize and participate in community-building and brand-awareness events.
  • To ensure brand consistency, collaborate with the marketing, public relations, and communications teams.
  • Keep in touch with the Development and Sales departments to stay up to date on new products and features.
  • Keep up with the latest digital technology trends.

Qualifications and Abilities

  • B.Sc in Marketing or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years work experience.
  • Work experience as a community manager is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter).
  • Capability to identify and track community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
  • Outstanding verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent writing abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with brand social media management.
  • Understanding of website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
  • Familiarity with online marketing and marketing channels.
  • Detail-orientedness and the ability to multitask.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
