Job Description

  • Oppein Abuja is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Showroom Manager. The ideal candidate is to serve as the lead marketing executive.
  • You will manage all marketing efforts including planning, research, advertising, communications, and public relations in line with our objectives. We are searching for a persuasive Showroom manager to set and smash our sales targets.
  • To achieve these objectives, the showroom manager will be required to oversee the design of the showroom, handle communications with clients and suppliers, implement productive marketing initiatives. and also coach and mentor employees.
  • As an expert in sales techniques, you will also be required to attract and secure business.
  • To ensure success as a showroom manager, you should ensure the maintenance of processes that work and the reinvention or elimination of procedures that impede sales.
  • Ultimately, a fantastic showroom manager will liaise with our team of marketing executives to ensure that our company is a preferred provider within the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Studying the features of all products on offer.
  • Arranging stock in a manner that is both visually appealing and allows ease of movement.
  • Ensuring that showroom samples are set up and in outstanding condition.
  • Training staff on effective sales and communication strategies.
  • Supervising the work of the design team to ensure standard of designs is optimal.
  • Handle communication between the company and its clients and suppliers.
  • Documenting sales and rewarding employees for these accordingly.
  • Drive the marketing and sales process
  • Formulating Sales strategies to aid brand management, evaluation, and market promotion strategies, for various existing/new products.
  • Develop sales plans, strategies, and policies with a view to increasing/sustaining market share and profitability.
  • Measure marketing program effectiveness and set out KPIs to drive continuous improvement in strategy and output.
  • Participate in organization-wide strategy planning and expand our thinking around the role of marketing in achieving growth.
  • Scan the environment to understand competitors' activities, demand-supply scenario, and general issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share.
  • Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management, and business development.
  • Continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, checking the prices for the desired products regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by the customers, deciding upon pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure the products are sold with the highest recoveries possible
  • Managing the complete sales cycle from business development and customer acquisition to receipt of payments.

Requirments

  • Graduate of Marketing, Business Development, Economics, or any related field.
  • 4+ years plus marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of current market trends and requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
  • Prior experience with marketing luxury furniture and household items is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience as a showroom manager is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to create spaces that are engaging and welcoming.
  • Capacity to convince stubborn and indecisive clients to make purchases.
  • Top-notch training and mentoring skills.
  • Outstanding teamwork, communication, and arbitration abilities.
