We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Research Technician III

Location:
Ibadan, Oyo State.

Job Descriptions
  • Operate all equipment in ILRI Cassava Peels processing factory.
  • Actively ensure that the cassava processing unit is orderly - all equipment, tools and products are in their proper places and that the highest sanitary standards for food processing are maintained at all times.
  • Support research work at the ILRI farm (maintaining animals and assisting in conducting animal experiments, supervise tasks allotted to animal attendant/casuals) as instructed by the scientist in charge.
  • Undertake routine health measures for the animals as directed by the scientist in charge.
  • Collect, enter and analyze data.
  • Drive vehicle to cassava processing sites to pack cassava peels and assist in processing the peels.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualification & Experience
  • OND in Animal Science, Animal Health or closely related field with Five (5) years relevant experience
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to speak more than one Nigerian language.
  • Ability to work extra hour when required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work
