Job Title: Learning & Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Scope

• We are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge.
• In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• If you also have experience designing e-learning courses and managing budgets, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate all on and off-site trainings and ensure timely delivery of training materials to participants and facilitators.
• Maintain and regularly update the Learning & Development database-exams, awards, training programmes, approved learning plans, etc.
• Initiate new Learning & Development initiatives, policies and other relevant HR initiatives.
• Work directly with the Learning & Development Manager in designing training plans.
• Prepare executive training feedback summary reports.
• Collate eLearning completion reports on a regular basis, track and monitor eLearning deadlines.
• Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists
• Help managers develop their team members through career pathing

Skills & Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years’ experience in the role.
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
• Professional certification is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
• Implement various learning methods company wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
• Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
