Sales Force Consulting (a subsidiary of SF Metrics & Analytics Limited) - Our client is a major player in the Foods and Beverage Market segment with factory headquarter in Onitsha but with dealers and depots nationwide and in West Africa.

As part of their resolve to expand its market share in the food spices market segment, they are urgently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: National Sales Manager - Food Spices / Seasonings

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Plan, manage and execute sales target achievement pan Nigeria.
  • Create and ensure follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Continuously acquire and maintain current product, customer and territory knowledge and ensure team alignment.
  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals on a national scale.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns pan Nigeria.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock and ensure prompt stock depletion

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other relevant discipline. (An MBA degree in Marketing or Business Administration will be an advantage).
  • Additional qualification and related association memberships is an added advantage

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a passionate salesperson and result oriented
  • Possess a minimum of 15 years FMCG sales experience preferably from food spices / seasonings.
  • MUST be currently working in either spices/seasoning company or must have worked in a spices/seasoning company for at least 7 years in a managerial position.
  • Candidate should be analytical, charismatic and must possess excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have functioned in a managerial and leadership capacity of a major FMCG company in the last seven years.
  • Must possess strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of the local consumer spices /seasoning market.

Other Requirements:

  • They must be very hardworking, target oriented, with high level of integrity
  • Grounded in supervisory and leadership skills is mandatory
  • Extensive knowledge of Spices/Seasonings market dynamics in Nigeria
  • Ideal candidates should be ready to reside in Onitsha.
  • Applicant must understand the whole rudiments of sales process and developing a sales and marketing strategy.
