People Capacity Management is a human resources and management consulting firm located in Lagos, Nigeria. We provide services, expertise and resources to both the private and public sectors through our deep knowledge of issues specific to industries and sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Director, Research and Advocacy

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Produce periodic reports, articles, and concept papers based on research and oversee their translation into advocacy programmes.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of all advocacy programmes and events of IoD Nigeria.
• Identify and develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in government, and industry and leverage these relationships in executing IoD Nigeria’s advocacy strategies.

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or any other related field.
• A post-graduate degree in any related field will be an added advantage.
• Member of a relevant professional body e.g., CIPM, NIM
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a director role and 8 years in a managerial position
• Experience in a similar organisation will be an added advantage

Competency and Skill Requirement:

• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Strong business analytical, marketing, and networking skills
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
