We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production, manufacturing and to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
  • The manager must be highly experienced in plastic blow molding and injection machine.
  • Capable to trouble shoot with blow molding and injection machine.

Essential Duties (Daily duties)

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • To allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal result
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
  • Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they confirm with quality standards.
  • Ensure that factory machinery is in good working order (DAILY CHECK).
  • To prepare daily production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
  • To carry out daily safety talk (PEP TALK)

General Description (Weekly / Quarterly duties):

  • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
  • Screening, recruiting and training new factory workers.
  • Ensure to carry out weekly/quarterly maintenance check on factory machinery.
  • To keep and record all data at the right time and place.

Responsibilities

  • Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and clear sense of direction and focus.
  • Increase production; assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary cost and maintaining current quality standards.
  • To enforce quality control standard operating procedures.
  • To implement machine maintenance standard operating procedures
  • To implement trainings for workers.
