Oyeth Consult Limited - Our client, a 63 bed 4-star Hotel located in Oyo State, is urgently recruiting suitable candidates to fill the following positions below:

Details

• Are you a qualified accountant with hotel or hospitality background?
• Do you have experience in ensuring financial information relating to hotels are recorded and reported accurately and on time?
• Can you maintain balance sheet controls in ensuring predictable financial reporting? If so, we have the perfect progression opportunity for you!

You'll be Great If

• You ensure all reports issued in relation hotel departments are timely and accurate. In particular, the monthly management accounts need to be issued in line with the strict month end timetable.
• You monitor cost control, quality of product and service throughout hotel
• You are responsible for balance sheet control, including 100% compliance of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• You understand the drivers of P&L and Key Performance Indicators and you communicate trends and opportunities to improve financial control processes.
• You support internal audits, implementing new control recommendations and ensuring compliance with existing policies
• You identify opportunities for continuous improvement, effectively present ideas and turn them into practical actions
• You work closely with the revenue management team to develop effective pricing strategies for the business
• You generate and implement revenue boosting initiatives across core areas
• You follow and review weekly “control” schedule of random stock checks, manage till cash-up procedures, beverage stocking in/out procedures.
• You ensure regular pre and post-event costings are done to ensure pricing and costs remain in line
• To ensure that all monies are kept in a safe and secure area adopting the hotels cash handling procedures.
• You work with the General Manager to ensure payroll targets are in line with the business levels.
• You assist with the development of any relevant short- & long-term strategic goals.

The Person

• At least 2+ years’ experience working in related role and in a 4-Star property
• Minimum of HND / B.Sc
• Qualified accountant (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) would be desirable
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.

• Strong technical accountant with an ability to work to strict deadlines.

• Salary range: N80,000 - N120,000 per month
