Job Title: Technical Safety Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Objective(s)
- Experience is required for timely identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and development of effective tools to manage and reduce these risks to ALARP.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing Technical / Process Safety programs to meet regulatory and Company requirements.
- Monitoring and evaluating technical safety performance across all assets.
- Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
- Ensures Process safety and General HSE performance metrics are appropriately collated and managed for continuous improvement.
- Provide and follow up risk assessments, HAZOPs & HAZIDs, audits, investigations, reviews, verifications
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University.
- Relevant advanced Degree(s) or HSE professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience having worked in an oil & gas industry serving in the capacity of a Technical Safety Engineer.
Remuneration
Competitive Monthly Net Salary Range (dependent on experience).
