Devien Consult - Our client, a leading Microfinance Bank, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile monthly bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation for Account payables and receivables.
• Preparation and remittance of statutory; VAT, PAYE, WHT, PENSION etc.
• Support in annual audit and filing of accounts.
• Support in annual budget preparation and compliance.
• Implementation of internal control, accounting policies, standards and procedures.

Requirements

• BSc Degree or HND in Accounting or related discipline
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience
• Knowledge of basic Accounting techniques
• Familiarity with MS Office & Accounting Softwares
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experience in dealing with the public with a high degree of tact and confidentiality.
