Job Title: Finance Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Finance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of finance professionals. He oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization.
• Being a finance supervisor monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise financial and accounting processes and ensure adherence to company/federal laws.
• Prepare and distribute budget reports and financial statements to management in a timely fashion.
• Manage account payables and receivable activities in a timely manner.
• Update general ledger on a regular basis and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in goals setting and performance improvements for finance staff.
• Register all finance transactions accurately for future references.
• Participate in overall annual budgetary process.
• Address financial issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.

Job Requirements

• Ideal Candidate Must possess a Minimum of 5 years' experience in Finance.
• Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation
• Ability to perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assist in assessing the financial health of the company.
• Ability to prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliation, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications

• BSc Accounting or other related field, chartered member of  ICAN, ACCA or relevant financial body.

Key Requirements:

• Background knowledge of SAP and experience in the Oil and Gas or Engineering sector.
