Westfield Consulting Limited - Our client, a Distributor and after sales service provider of technical equipment, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Sales Executive (Forklift)

Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
  • Identify Sales Opportunities

Market Analysis:

  • Penetrating competitor markets
  • Visit construction sites and other related industries to ensure brand visibility and monitor competitor’s activities.
  • Ensure effective customer satisfaction and after sales care

Project Management:

  • Tracking the project development
  • To contact main contractor and their subcontractors and users of forklift machines in various industries
  • Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Communicating new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to the Sales Manager
  • Gain product knowledge of Hangcha Forklifts and Silla Construction machines.

Hangcha and Silla Training Sseminar:

  • Hangcha and Silla Online Training seminars.
  • Provide product training for dealers and customers
  • Participating in marketing events like trade shows, seminars.

Requirements

  • 3 - 7 years’ work experience
  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND in any field
  • Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage
  • MUST have experience selling forklift /Construction machine
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications.
  • Aged between 30 - 38 years
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Master sales techniques.
  • Technical understanding
  • Be dynamic and sociable.
  • Readiness to travel
  • Ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Readiness for intensive travels
  • High initiative, be independent and proactive
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to details (methodical record keeping).
  • Good oral and writing skills.
