Swift Consulting - Our client in the agricultural sector is recruiting a qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Owerri, Imo

Responsibilities
The suitable candidate will be required to prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities including but not limited to:

• Performing general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Preparing periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Coding invoices, seting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books.
• Filing required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts (cash flow).
• Maintaining an appropriate schedule for payments and accruals.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentations for Property, Plants and Equipments (PPE).

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• Must be ICAN or ACCA certified
• Must be able to make use of all accounting software e.g. Excel, Sage 50
• Should be able to compile pay rolls and tax

Salary
N70,000 - N130,000 Monthly.
