Sunbeth Global Concept Limited - A trading company specializing in the exportation of raw cocoa beans and cashew from Nigeria. Although established in August 2017, the company has deep roots in the cocoa industry as it emanated from Sunny Owoh Ventures Nigeria Limited, a long-standing cocoa sourcing company with over 20 years of business activities in Ondo-State, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand Communications Manager

Location: Akure, Ondo

Job Summary

  • In this role, the successful candidate will support brand teams across portfolios and assist in the creation of top-notch creative assets for both conventional and digital platforms.
  • He or she is a master storyteller with a flair for originality and is knowledgeable about contemporary culture.
  • In order to construct integrated brand campaigns and build an employer brand, you will be responsible for developing brand strategies to help increase brand recognition and foster a favorable business image.
  • He or she will participate in creating a new agenda for communication excellence and incorporating a new framework within the business.
  • The brand communications manager is a skilled communicator with notable experience working with creative agencies, PR agencies, and brand management.
  • He or she is capable of taking responsibility for content creation and is familiar with the entire process of creating content, from ideation through production including producing case studies collaboratively.

Job Description

  • Align with the brand communication strategy of the company and deliver on its objectives.
  • Create, produce and manage high-quality content in line with brand values.
  • Develop branding initiatives, internal communications, and external media relations.
  • Ensures quality control of all information released and campaigns executed.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as web designers, marketing executives, and photographers to improve content strategy
  • Regularly check and track content, Proofread and edit material.
  • Check all pieces for accuracy and cohesiveness
  • Responsible for publishing content that meets quality standards
  • Monitor and report on web presence and traffic
  • Adhere to copyright and privacy standards and company policies
  • Defines and manages the Communications budget
  • Projecting a positive company image to the public
  • Work with the Head of Strategy on specific tasks
  • Find solutions for business problems
  • Contribute to business development and digital innovation.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years post-NYSC experience working in roles related to brand management, marketing communications, and copywriting.
  • Experience in developing award-winning campaigns, preferably experience as a copywriter or account planner.
  • Work experience in a creative agency is an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge of the regulatory environment in advertising
  • An analytical mindset, with strong presentation skills and an ability to clearly articulate and present ideas.
