Description

  • This role Demonstrates personal and team commitment to Client policies, standards, codes of conduct and HSE requirements.
  • Focused on acting on behalf of Client on quality control and assurance matters of Subsea Production System (SPS) Equipment for OML130 operations/activity covering Drilling & Completion, ECP (Engineering Construction & Projects), and Field Operations entities.
  • Will liaise with contractors with prevailing COMPANY contracts for Tubular inspection and machining services (e.g. REMM, Titan/WASCO/NE WILLIAMS/AMOSCO etc.) in support of subsea equipment maintenance.

  • Will liaise with contractors with prevailing COMPANY contracts for Tubular inspection and machining services (e.g., REMM, Titan/WASCO/NE WILLIAMS/AMOSCO etc.) in support of subsea equipment maintenance.
  • Participate and coordinate COMPANY team in CONTRACTOR base ONNE to achieve COMPANY objectives.
  • Interface with CONTRACTOR base representative(s) to clarify COMPANY operational and scheduling priorities, to coordinate CONTRACTOR execution of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair activities, and drive delivery of subsea equipment and services.
  • Routinely advise the status of subsea equipment, materials, and services; progress of base activities; and remain updated of the various entities’ operational schedules and requirements.
  • Logistics focal points for DW Technical entities (e.g., Drilling & Wells Superintendent, Offshore Operations Superintendent (ECP) etc) to execute mobilisation of required OSS & TFMC and Expro equipment and services for their operations.
  • Support HSE entities’ audits, inspections and investigations relating to CONTRACTOR base.
  • Interface with Drilling & Wells SPS and Subsea Engineering teams to follow progress in OSS, Expro and TFMC bases, and promote mutual support to ensure the delivery of both OSS, Expro and TFMC equipment and services for COMPANY’s operations
  • Coordinate with DW Stock control to ensure proper tracking of materials and spares under COMPANY’s custody and control, related to CONTRACTOR Base activities.
  • Procurement process in line with operational requirements, and related administration/reporting/tracking.
  • Proper spares management implementation by Contractor (storage, segregation, inventory, robust obsolescence management etc.) to assure operation and maintenance tasks are executed as scheduled.
  • All COMPANY owned equipment maintained properly and on schedule.
  • Coordinate and lead with DW Logistics at Onne to ensure dispatch/receipt of equipment and people efficient dispatch / receipt of equipment & materials by COMPANY or CONTRACTOR at operational base.
  • Appropriate and periodic reporting to all entities concerned of status of equipment, materials, and base activities.
  • Ensure the availability, within short notice, of the specific equipment/tooling required to intervene rapidly on all OML 130 subsea production facilities (XT choke, XT / Manifold SCM, XT / Manifold valves etc.)
  • Oversee CONTRACTOR utilisation of safe & proper lifting & handling practices in relation to movement, dispatch, or receipt of COMPANY equipment.
  • QA/QC of COMPANY or CONTRACTOR equipment, being mobilised at OSS base, used for COMPANY’s Deepwater operations.
  • Ensure/verify that CONTRACTOR and SUB-CONTRACTORS meet the objectives and standards set by COMPANY’s HSE in relation to their management of COMPANY equipment, tools, and spares.
  • Maintain proactive HSE attitude in all working areas in line with COMPANY published standards (Wear adequate PPE, volunteer for CONTRACTOR and SUB-CONTRACTORS facilities safety tours and meetings, positive interventions to stop/prevent an unsafe behaviour etc.)
  • Comply with COMPANY requirements in terms of HSE training
  • Support COMPANY’s Audits and Inspections of base and workshop facilities.
  • Promote and publicise any Safety communications issued from with COMPANY’s Group for awareness within CONTRACTOR organisation
  • Follow up any analysis process of reported unsafe acts where relevant, ensure close out and transmissions of the lessons learned
  • Oversee safe & proper lifting & handling practices in relation to movement, dispatch, or receipt of COMPANY equipment.
  • Coordinate, trigger and support the preparation, loading and transit of equipment & materials from CONTRACTOR ONNE base to QUAYSIDE or other CONTRACTOR / COMPANY facilities as required in safe and efficient manner confirm no unsecured COMPANY load dispatched out of CONTRACTOR base.
  • Liaise with and Alert COMPANY Logistics organisation with respects to movement of COMPANY equipment, ensuring all necessary documentation from CONTRACTOR base prepared to accompany load outs / receipts.
  • Ensure suitable storage of COMPANY equipment and spares at CONTRACTOR base - Ensure procedures are in place and implemented by CONTRACTOR for all inspection maintenance / repair work on COMPANY purchased equipment - Follow up punch list work (i.e. work not yet performed, although planned at manufacturing / fabrication sites) per equipment and inspect on completion of the work in country as required. Sign off completed work.
  • Follow up CONTRACTOR compliance to provisions of SERVICE CONTRACT relating to Spares Management, as well as Equipment Inspection, Maintenance & Repair in CONTRACTOR, or SUB-CONTRACTOR facilities
  • Supervise CONTRACTOR storage practices & activities, ensuring CONTRACTOR stores equipment and spares in appropriate storage conditions at CONTRACTOR base e.g. rubber goods & electronic goods/equipment in cool indoor conditions; equipment suitable for outdoor storage fully tarpaulin covered and protected from dust and elements, all equipment supported off ground and not subject to element degradation.
  • Ensure that all COMPANY-issued orders for spares/materials are filled/executed by CONTRACTOR, and reconcile spares received to orders placed with CONTRACTOR
  • Follow up proper Obsolescence management implementation by CONTRACTOR
  • Initiate, Coordinate, Carry Out and/or Support inventory activities by COMPANY or COMPANY Sub-Contractor of COMPANY equipment and spares; drive continuous inventory system.
  • Audit CONTRACTOR inventory of COMPANY equipment and spares, and monitor/drive CONTRACTOR tracking of Spares utilisation. Confirm fed into spares forecasts
  • Initiate nonconformance reports (FPR, FNCR) as required.
  • Perform Product identification and traceability activities as required

Job Requirements

  • Technical Degree (generalist, mechanical, …)
  • > 5 years cumulative experience in subsea production system activity and Deepwater operations, including contractor management experience, and role requiring coordination of logistics.
  • QA/QC or materials/equipment inspection experience is mandatory.
  • Endeavour to maintain good, professional, and consistent working relationship with CONTRACTOR
  • Carry out all activities with integrity and in compliance to Nigerian laws and regulations, and in line with COMPANY rules and code of conduct.
  • Good working knowledge of oil and gas industry best practices.
