Job Title: English Tutor
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Responsibilities
- Organize lectures and coursework in the classroom.
- Prepare the necessary materials and activities.
- Assign intriguing exercises and homework.
- Identify students with unique needs and develop tailored strategies for them.
- Determine exam and assignment grades.
- Provide comments based on workload and behavior in the classroom.
- Keep track of your pupils' attendance and grades.
- Investigate novel language-learning techniques.
- Resolve conflicts and manage crises in the classroom.
- Parents should be informed about their children's performance.
- Monitor pupils progress and provide relevant feedback by tracking their assignment and test grades.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in English Language or Literature is required; a Master's Degree is a plus.
- 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.
- Previous teaching experience in English in a primary school.
- Understanding of a variety of instructional approaches.
- Detailed knowledge of the national curriculum as well as the English language requirements.
- Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.
- A patient and tenacious character.
Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
