We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

  Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise all purchasing activities of the department.
  • Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review, compare, analyze, and recommend products and services to be purchased.
  • Manage inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Provide price trend recommendations and search for new suppliers related to the procurement of promo materials.
  • Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Source and register new vendors for various materials required within the value chain
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
  • Preparing budgets and cost analyses
  • Tag all assets and maintain a database for all assets in the business
  • Generate insightful reports that enhances best business decision on purchases, to promote quality and cost effectiveness

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or any relevant disciplines
  • Must possess relevant receivables accounting experience of minimum of 3 years experience

Other Qualifications:

  • Professional exams, member of relevant professional association etc..

Required Skills & Competencies (Technical and Soft Skills):

  • Exceptional MS Office skill - especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good negotiation skill
  • Teamwork – Ability to work together in a team
  • Time Management skills
  • Ability to produce interactive reports (Analytical skill)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skill
