Job Title: Audit Assistant / Control Officer
Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Job Description
- Plan and deliver internal audits of determined business area or department.
- Prepare reports of audit findings and make recommendations to Management.
- Evaluate financial records of the organization.
- Carry out risk assessments within the organization.
- Assess the suitability of current internal controls, making suggestions for improvements where needed.
- Liaise with external advisors.
- Ensure the business complies with all relevant policies, industry regulations and government legislation.
- Liaise with and advise Senior Management on internal audit issues.
- Provide support to the wider financial team on additional projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications / Work Experience
- Minimum of B.Sc / M.Sc in Accounting with not less than 5 years’ track record of delivery in financial and general audit projects.
- Previous work experience in the financial and banking sector would is preferrable.
- Certification in ACA, ACCA or ICAN would be an added advantage.
