Job Title: Subject / Classroom Teacher

Summary
We are seeking for a self-motivated and experienced teacher to join our qualified team of educators to teach students of diverse age group in the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Geography

Job Description

• As a teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development. Your responsibilities will be and not limited to grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities.
• In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research for textbooks, software, equipment, or other learning materials to complement tutoring.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and lesson notes.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
• Maintain records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
• Develop teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.
• Proficient in the use of the computer and internet(desirable).
• Must possess leadership, student centered teaching, excellentand effective written and communication skills.
• Competent in the field/areas of specialization.
• Supervising classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.

Requirements / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, B.Sc with PGDE, B.Ed in English and specified subjects.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a teacher.
• A knowledge of Cambridge Standard will be an added advantage.
• An Education qualification / certification is highly preferred
• Teacher must be able to teach WAEC AND JAMB CLASS
• Cognate experience in preparing learners for external examinations
• Certification in IGCSE and CHECKPOINT will be given high preference.

Remuneration
The monthly salary is specified below according to the subjects and educational qualifications:

• BSc / BEd: 35,000 - 40,000 (All other Subjects)
• BSc / BEd 40,000 - 45,000 (English, Lit-in-English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
• PGDE 45,000 - 50,000
• MEd 50,000 - 55,000
