Job Description
- You are responsible for accessing products, services and suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure that the approved purchases are of a sufficient quality and are cost efficient.
- Understand business goals and objectives.
- Researching for potential vendors.
- Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers.
- Negotiating contract terms of agreement, pricing and preparing reports.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.
Requirements and Skills
- B.Sc in Logistics, Economics or Business Administration.
- Negotiation skills
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
