Our client seeks to fill the below position:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Assess competence of Operators to set up, operate and changeover equipment.
- Provide Operator training as necessary.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to required standard.
- Conduct continuous machine observation and measurement during the shift,identifying potential failure or deterioration in output, waste or quality performance from machine standards.
- Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and complete remedial work during shift..
- Assessing need of spare parts.
- Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload wherever necessary.
- Ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.
- Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation, Company policy and Company
- procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.

Person Specifications:
- First degree or HND in Engineering.
- Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years cognate experience a high production-related environment.
- Experience in the Tomato Paste industry is critical.
