We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Manager (Global Fund)

Location: Nigeria
Level of Effort: 50%

Job Summary

  • The incumbent jobholder will be responsible for the timely Procurement and delivery of quality goods and services on the GF project and manage logistics at competitive prices and supporting the PSM Lead and all state/ OSS based Logistics/ Operations team to ensure timely and quality logistics management on the GF NAHI Project.
  • Preparation, co-ordination and implementation of consolidated annual procurement plans and ensure user departments adhere to it in line with approved budgets;
  • Formulate the Value for Money (VFM) framework to inform the organization procurement.

 Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or a related field
  • Masters or certification in procurement/Supply Chain Management is an advantage
  • 6+ years’ experience in procurement in health industry
  • Experience in sourcing medical devices and equipment
  • Good knowledge of vendor management process
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiation terms
  • Management and leadership skills; ability to lead a team
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving and negotiation skills.
