Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location:
Ibadan

Specific Job/Responsibilities
  • Supply medicines to patients, whether on prescription or over the counter
  • Assemble medicines for prescriptions
  • Provide information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Answers questions and provides information to patients and providers on. drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals;
  • Maintains established policies and procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
  • Manages appropriate data collection, such as client name, prescribed medication and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory
  • Performs a monthly stock count;
Requirements
  • Level of Education: SSCE Certificate
  • Must be a registered member of the necessary professional body and should possess a current license
  • Ability to work independently, dynamic and resourceful
  • Ability to take initiative and be a good team player
  • Good writing, communication and social skills.
  • Ready and willing to work in a growing and dynamic environment
  • Required Experience: 5 years
