LifeBank is a healthcare technology and logistics company that’s in the business of saving lives. We believe that no African should die from a shortage of essential medical products at the hospital level, and we are on a mission to solve this. LifeBank is currently working on the blood shortage problem in Nigeria by connecting hospitals to blood banks, and blood banks to donors. We do this by hosting blood drives and by delivering blood in less than 55 minutes, in a WHO and EU recommended cold-chain, to hospitals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Officer

Locations: Jigawa, Lagos, Rivers, Yobe, Delta

Functions of the Role

  • The field officer will be responsible for coordinating on-ground activities all in accordance with LifeBank’s project from the initial ideation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate evaluative resources to guide fieldwork.
  • Inspect delivery sites to ascertain the appropriateness of contemporary conditions.
  • Extract and report on data-driven conclusions for each salient undertaking.
  • Compilation of timely, accurate bi-monthly reports.
  • Confer with project beneficiaries and support staff to evaluate uptake, pitfalls, and areas necessitating expansion.
  • Facilitate data analysis by ensuring data is in a readable format.
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the clients and all stakeholders and ensure the project is delivered to satisfaction.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications

  • Higher National Diploma. (HND) minimum requirement.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields may be considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Proven experience (3 years+) as a Field Officer.
  • Proficient in relevant data storage and analysis software.
  • Ability to procure, house, and inspect high-quality data independently.
  • Subject matter expertise in the healthcare industry is a strong plus
  • Proven experience leading project teams of various sizes and seeing them through to completion.
