Job purpose

  • To support the design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of the organization’s mobile application development and related databases in conjunction with other Strategic Information and program staff to support program implementation.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, adaptation and maintenance of the organization databases working with the Mobile app development team based on program needs.
  • Assist in ensuring all relevant program staff can utilize the internal and development with training in use of data management and analysis toolsw including, NMRS mobile, NDR and MS Office products for team members and facility staff
  • Assist in review of data being collected through mobile apps and follow up with the development team to fix problems with data entry, integrity and reporting
  • Assist with the deployment, implementation and use of updated or new mobile applications
  • Support Electronic Data Entry Clerks in the monitoring of EMR use and NDR uploads.
  • Supervise all mobile processes including 100% collation of improvement needs, tracking of updates and feedback for enhancements.
  • Serve as a liaison between vulnerable groups using specialized mobile applications and thematic focal persons to improve user experience with utmost confidentiality

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or University Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Computer Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post NYSC experience working with a local or International NGO; preferably in Care and treatment, or Gender
  • Experience with use, deployment and Mobile app management
  • Knowledge of basic programming language a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and run database queries
  • Ability to work under pressure cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large amount of data and produce information generated from e-platforms
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
