We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: SEO Specialist Team Lead

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Fully Remote)
Job type: Full-time

Contract: This is a Permanent, Full-time position (40h per week), on an Independent Contractor status.

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced  SEO Specialist Team Lead, who will promote content, knowledge, and technologies through InEvent many acquisition channels, promoting awareness, interviews, and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
• Lead team of SEO Specialists
• Create and update keyword plan to guide content teams
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
• Optimize the conversion rate of the website
• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
• Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
• Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns
• Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

Pre-requisites

• 4+ years experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing skills
• Experience with Hubspot email marketing campaigns;
• Experience with Wordpress
• Experience with SemRush SEO and SEM;
• Be responsible, have a sense of urgency and initiative;
• Knowledge of the Google Drive suite.
• Resilient to learn continuously in a startup
• Experience managing a small team is a plus;
• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal;
• Must speak English fluently (TOEFL IBT > 95 or CAE > C1 level)
• Must have a personal notebook (Mac or Windows)
• Must have a mobile device (iOS or Android)
