We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Worker III

Reference ID: STS2022-019
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Recruitment Type: STS- National (6-months renewable contract)

Duties

  • Assist in implementation of all post-harvest operations under supervision of the post-harvest supervisors and line breeder.
  • Assist in receiving, sorting and recording samples received from field trials.
  • Assist in data collection on cassava roots.
  • Assist in processing cassava roots into designated food products (mainly gari, starch and odorless fufu).
  • Assist in determination of dry matter and starch content.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • O’level with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

  • Have ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Have data collection and samples sorting skills.
