We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Internal Audit

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• Participate in formulation, design and revision of the Subsidiary’s Inspection strategy
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control activities in line with the overall business goals and objectives

Job Responsibilities 

• Develop and executive annual audit plan that addresses the broad range of risks associated with the group operations in provision of assurance to stakeholders.
• To provide assurance of the integrity of records by identifying weaknesses and making suitable recommendations.
• Conduct full inspection of subsidiaries at least once in a financial year
• Conduct spot checks on high risk rated subsidiaries.
• Access, analyze and measure risks relating to operational standard
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in line with Policy
• Analyze reports and highlight trends and issues for management attention
• Optimize audit cost and resources
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements 

• First Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline
• Postgraduate and/or Professional qualification in accounting e.g. ACA, ACCA
