IAL Nigeria Limited is an indigenous Multimodal International Logistics and Supply Chain Management Company with services covering International Freight Forwarding, International Removal & Relocation, Project Logistics in the Oil Industry, Power and Telecoms Sectors, Warehousing & Storage, Dangerous Goods Handling including Radioactive Sources & Explosives, Exhibition Logistics, and Road Haulage/Transportation with the Head Office located at 16,Burma Road, Apapa, Lagos and Branch Offices at Abuja, Ikeja, Port Harcourt, Bonny Island, Onne and Warri. The Company incorporated in July, 1978 and commenced operation in October of the same year.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Client Service Executive

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

  • To assist the International Coordinator and the Deputy with relevant communications between the company and its affiliates, international clients and partners.

Other Job Functions

  • Download all rates requests (origin or destination) and follow up with responses
  • Daily registration of all received mails
  • Follow the established client service processes and procedures to improve operational excellence.
  • Respond to rate requests and liaise with International Coordinator when necessary
  • Disseminate urgent information to appropriate channels between the International Department and other related departments
  • Manage the relationship between the organization and clients.
  • Reference all quotations sent out to the affiliates as requested
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with national and international clients through open and interactive communication
  • Relay information between International Coordinator and other departments (Operations, Export, Business Development etc)
  • Gather information from both Export and Operations Department, and update the clients and the origin agents on the status of current shipment (inbound and outbound)
  • Handle all possible complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Perform other assigned functions.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of HND or B Sc.
  • Master's Degree is an added advantage
  • Possession of relevant professional certification
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Attention to details
  • Prior experience in similar position is desirable
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to change
