Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Engineer (Construction)

Job Responsibilities

• We are seeking to engage brilliant, knowledgeable and competent Quantity Surveyor Engineers into our construction team.
• Manage the contractual and financial side of our construction projects.
• Will manage the costs of construction projects as well as help to ensure that our projects are completed within budget.
• Main duties are the basic responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor Engineers covering both pre-construction cost estimation and on-site project cost management.
• Major goal of the role is the delivery of project within projected bill of quantities and where possible, effective cost minimisation without compromise of quality specifications.
• Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
• Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Overseeing construction engineering processes.
• Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
• Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
• Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng or related qualifications with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• Ability to do estimate.
• Manage Projects.
• Experience in on-site project cost supervision.
• Sound Knowledge of construction process.
• Extensive market knowledge of construction material and products.
• Proficiency in excel and other construction cost management softwares.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
