Divitiae Limited - Our client is a Real Estate company that develops and manages properties for and also sells properties to a broad-based clientele locally and internationally.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations
• Provide management and financial accounting support which includes posting in the general ledger
• Prepare and reconcile Profit and Loss and Balance sheet reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Assist in preparation of annual tax returns and other regulatory submissions
• Provide accurate, understandable, timely information to support management decisions, including analysis and recommendations
• Manage relationship with external stakeholders, ensure that appropriate reports and documentations are submitted to all relevant authorities.
• Keep a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and assist with audit preparations.
• Prepare cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information.
• Reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review.
• Research market trends and project construction-related price increases/decreases
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Keep abreast with both the construction and accounting industry

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• First Degree with 5 years experience in similar position and minimum of Skill level of ICAN examination.
• Analytical and detail oriented with high level of financial accuracy
• Should display excellent business acumen and the ability to minimize production costs through efficient accounting
• Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures
• Familiarity with Peachtree accounting software
• Working knowledge of the construction industry
• Solid analytical and mathematical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary
NGN150,000 - NGN200,000 Monthly.
