Managewell Consultancy Services Limited - Our client, an Integrated Farm located at Hadeja, Jigawa State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Jigawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Planning and budget for farming activities.
• Choice of crops, birds and animals, and monitoring their growth.
• Harvesting and marketing.
• Supervision of employees and activities on the farm
• Liaison with service providers (Health Workers, Agricultural Extension Officers, Security Agencies, etc).
• Maintenance of facilities (equipment, machinery, building structures, etc).
• Purchasing farm supplies (chemicals, feeds, seeds, etc).

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc in Agriculture or related field.
• At least two (2) years experience as Farm Manager or five (5) years experience of working on organized farm.
• Knowledge of Management Science is added advantage.
• Ability to speak Hausa fluently and interact well with local community.
