Value Edge Management Service Limited - Our client, an Agro-Allied company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cassava Milling Operator

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials availability related to milling Operation (like Cassava, enzymes, nutrients and chemicals etc...), Equipment readiness, Utilities, Personal Protective Equipment for Hygiene practices, manpower availability based on the production plan, and take corrective actions as required.
• Monitoring of milling operating parameters, In process Quality parameters of the product, process water, and Steam consumption on a shift basis.
• Operate and control the milling process and its parameters using a PLC/DCS system.
• Process troubleshooting by following proper documentation practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Provide on the Job training to existing and new personnel as required.
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and compliance is maintained as required.
• Report back to the immediate superior any issue that is identified and resolved effectively.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirements to achieve a budget plan.
• Participate in activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Safety
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
• Other Duties may be assigned as needed
