Job Title: Facility & Utility Officer

Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Facilities & Utility Officer to oversee all our restaurant appliances/ equipments.
  • You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of our Air conditioners, Refrigerators and freezers, Cold rooms, Electric and gas fryers and Electric and gas ovens and Electricity generator and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.
  • The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use appliances and equipment while reducing operating costs. Your ability to research and execute improvements is a huge plus.
  • The goal is to optimize the usage of appliances and equipment while reducing operating costs on gas and electricity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the upkeep and usage of equipment and appliances to minimize operational costs.
  • Inspect appliances and equipment to determine the need for repairs 
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
  • Supervise all staff facilities users (Managers, Supervisors, and operations staff) and ensure facility usage compliance.
  • Perform analysis and forecasting
  • Perform research and execute improvements

Requirements and Skills

  • ND / HND in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
  • Proven experience as facilities officer or relevant position with Domino's pizza (Eat N Go), chicken republic, etc.
  • Well-versed in technical operations, utility and facilities management best practices
  • Restaurant experience will be a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple locations will also be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to research and execute improvements.
